Arlen House Lunchtime Book Launch presents new collections & readings by Una Ni Cheallaigh, Margaret Nohilly & Breda Spaight.
Margaret Nohilly, a native of Westmeath, has been living in Lanesboro, County Longford for most of her life. A retired primary teacher, she has been immersed in poetry for more than 25 years. The Overlap of Things is her debut collection.
Breda Spaight holds an M.Phil in creative writing from Trinity College. Her chapbook, The Untimely Death of My Mother’s Hens, was published by Southword Editions in their New Irish Voices series. Watching for the Hawk is her debut collection.
Úna Ní Cheallaigh was born in Dublin. She holds a Masters in Creative Writing from UCC. Her debut poetry collection, The Colour of Time is a celebration of resilience explored through memory. At its heart is a sequence giving voice to the sculptor, Camille Claudel.
