Ceaití Ní Bheildiúin, Irish language poet, was awarded the Marten Toonder Award 2024 by the Arts Council. Agallamh sa Cheo, Cnoc Bhréanainn, her fourth collection of Irish language poems, earned her the Michael Hartnett Award 2021. In February 2025, Guthanna ar an gCnoc – a choral work composed by Eoghan Desmond, based on a suite of six poems from Ní Bheildiúin’s above mentioned collection, was presented by Chamber Choir Ireland with conductor Eamonn Dougan, in the Peppercannister Church, Dublin and in Fishwicker Church, Belfast. Her most recent publication is Let the Hare Sit/Lig don nGiorria Suí, with translations by Paddy Bushe, Dedalus 2022. Ní Bheildiúin has worked as creative-writing workshop facilitator at the Díseart, Dingle, Co. Kerry 2023-2025.
