Jaki McCarrick is an award-winning writer of plays, poetry and fiction. Her debut collection, Sweeney as a Girl, was published last year by Dedalus Press.
Jaki McCarrick won the Papatango Prize for New Writing for her play Leopoldville. Her play Belfast Girls, developed at the National Theatre, London, has been staged many times internationally and toured Ireland in 2025.
