Jessamine O’Connor lives on the Sligo Roscommon border where she writes fiction and poetry. Her collection ‘Silver Spoon’ is published by Salmon Poetry, and she has numerous chapbooks including with Nine Pens Press and the Black Light Engine Room press. She is an editor with Drunk Muse Press, The Poet’s Republic, and was on the editorial team for the inaugural Scrimshaw. Awards include 2025’s Poems for Patience award, The Drumshanbo Written Word Festival poetry-film competition, and the Ireland Chair of Poetry Travel Award. Her debut novel ‘Somewhere’ is published in May by Lilliput Press.
