He has won numerous awards for his writing including: The SeaCat Poetry Ireland Award, The Hiberno-English Poetry Award, The Irish Writers Poetry Award, The ASTI Achievements Award & the P.J. O’Connor RTE award for his play, Broken Cups. His poetry was prescribed text for Leaving Certificate English.
